-A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this series were donated by the artist to the RedCross for aid Haiti.
-The series pays homage to the great De Stijil movement painter, Piet Mondrian and his “Composition” works from the 1930/40’s. This series that the Dutch painter is most famous for was created during his time in Paris, this is the city in which he developed in the to artist history remembers him as. It was in Paris that Piet changed his name from Mondriaan to Mondrian; it is unquestionable that Mr Brainwash (born and raised in France) uses the Mondriart editions to honors Piet and his affiliation with MBW’s home country.
