Mr Brainwash: Heinz Ketchup Spray Can Record Price

This week a work from Mr Brainwash’s iconic Spray Can series fetched a record. Heinz Ketchup Tomato Spray from Mr Brainwash’s 2009 Spray Can Set sold on its own for 2,400.USD. This is a new record price for an individual Spray Can edition by Mr Brainwash. The ArtNet Auction that hosted the Mr Brainwash Heinz lot sold on January 19th, 2011 and was bid on by a number of buyers who chased the Mr Brainwash piece from 1,600.USD to a final hammer price of 2,100.USD

Over the last two years limited edition artworks by Mr Brainwash have ascended in value, often doubling in value. Mr Brainwash has gained international art world recognition as one of the leading street artists.
