MR BRAINWASH: Mr Brainwash does Miami in a big way. I was just at the show yesterday and “Under Construction” takes his NYC ICONS show too a new level. The two story exhibition space is over 25,000 square feet in total with a combinations of indoor and outdoor installations and paintings.

I was very pleased with the new artworks I saw with incorporations of Mickey Mouse in new ways. He has continued his study of Icons, using various film stars, artists, models, and more in his new body of work. However what struck me the most was Mr Brainwash’s edited oil paintings. Mr Brainwash alters old master paintings, giving the compositions a contemporary twist. Whether its adding Batman and Robin masks or 3D Movie glasses to a traditional portrait he continued to amaze.
