Mr Brainwash: Exit Through the Gift Shop Wins Spirit Award
Exit Through the Gift Shop won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary in Oscars weeks chain of cinematic ceremonies. Mr Brainwash accepted the award for Exit Through the Gift, dressed in a paint splattered pair of jeans. Mr Brainwash dedicated the award to Banksy, thanking Banksy for taking all of the street art footage Mr Brainwash had filmed to the next level. He spoke the audience telling them that anything is possible, that believing in oneself is the most important thing – following in a true Mr Brainwash Life Is Beautiful outlook.
